Misty and Jacob had their Spring engagement session a few weeks ago at Long Hunter State Park in Nashville, Tennessee. I love Long Hunter because it has great rural backdrops, like the long golden grass and the lake!

Misty did a great job picking outfits for their engagement shoot! They wanted their kids to be in some of the pictures, so we did family pictures for the first ten minutes of the session. I recommended that they coordinate outfits, but not match too much, and Misty perfected the look! She wore a striped and floral patterned dress, and coordinated Jacob and the kids’ outfits with her dress.

Some of my favorite pictures from this engagement session are of Misty and Jacob in the tall grass! Tennessee has beautiful parks and scenery, and I love the vibrant Spring feel in these pictures!

Fun fact- I took some pictures of Misty the day she had her hair and make up trial for her wedding, and she tried on her wedding dress! It is so stunning, and it made me so excited for her wedding day!

Misty and Jacob will be getting married in October at Madison Creek Farms, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding later this year!
